Data Science Portfolio — Practical Guide to starting your website with Jekyll and Github Pages
Data Science remains one of the most sought after fields. However, since this profession is becoming more and more popular, it gets difficult to stand out (especially if you don’t have any IT experience). One of the things you can do to get noticed is work on personal projects. Sharing your projects from a Github repo is all you need, but building a portfolio website can help you stand out. Of course, a pretty website is not everything so please make sure to invest the majority of your time working on your projects rather than a portfolio! Good quality projects should be your main focus and a website is only a “cherry on top”.
