In my current role as a Data Scientist, I unexpectedly found myself in charge of recruitment for a new team member. It was my first time taking on this responsibility, and as I sifted through the hundreds of CVs that flooded my inbox, I couldn’t help but notice a pattern. Only a select few applications stood out, and I began to see why! I found myself consistently drawn to CVs that possessed certain qualities and elements. Now, I want to share my insights and observations from this experience. Please keep in mind that what I’m about to share is highly subjective and reflects my personal viewpoint on CVs.
